Now I really feel old...

I can't believe I'm turning 65!

When the big 5-0 was approaching I was bombarded with piles of mail related to AARP. That really never bothered me and I sort of found humor in it. Now with 65 quickly sneaking up on me, I am again being deluged with piles of age related mail, but this time it is related to medicare supplemental insurance plans and retirement communities. When you start hearing/seeing the words medicare and medicaid everywhere you finally realize that you really are getting old. Not that there is anything wrong with getting old, I just wish I could put it off like I do with everything else in my life. Now if I could only retire....

Let's try this again.....

Welcome to my new blog

Way back in time I used to be prolific blogger, with both Fred's Garden Blog and my personal blog.  A change in website software disrupted both several years ago and since then I've had a tough time starting blogging again.  Sure I've made an isolated post from time to time, but they have been few and far between. Blogging is sort like an exercise program, you just have to do it and be consistent for several weeks in order to make it a priority in your life.
